In Which We Attempt To Make Some Bad Decisions

Our journey through the world of iTunes playlists continues, as we visit the country western mind of Vince Vaughn. What does Vince listen to when he's not saying "let's make some bad decisions" in some movie or another? Find out below.

the iTunes Playlist: Vince Vaughn

Once a cute young actor, Vince Vaughn turned into a Jon Favreau-created monster, evolved into a Hollywood party boy with an appetite for utter destruction. He's currently touring with some kind of Wild West comedy tour thing so he can become the next Jeff Foxworthy, I suppose. A registered Republican, Vaughn's relationships with Joey Lauren Adams and Jennifer Aniston inspired George W. Bush to try to get a hotter wife. His next incarnation is as family man and mayor of Chicago. Enjoy his iTunes playlist.

"Honky Tonk Man" - Dwight Yoakam (mp3)

A classic country song written and first made famous by Johnny Horton. Dwight Yoakam re-recorded it. You should have both versions in your collection.

"Streets of Bakersfield" - Buck Owens & Dwight Yoakam (mp3)

Buck Owens defined the Bakersfield sound. Buck and Dwight's duet on this song (written by Homer Joy) exemplifies that sound and attitude. It is a tremendous cowboy rebel anthem.

"Viva Las Vegas" - Elvis Presley

What can you say? Elvis & Vegas. Does it get any better? Vegas baby, Vegas!

"(Ghost) Riders In the Sky" - Johnny Cash (mp3)

Sung here by Johnny Cash this song by Stan Jones transcends all musical formats. It's been recorded by over 50 different artists in every type of genre. We chose Johnny's version because we loved Johnny and think his version is one of the best (the best?).

"Okie from Muskogee" - Merle Haggard & the Strangers (mp3)

Merle Haggard's country classic. A tongue-in-cheek ode to good clean living. 'We don't make a party out of lovin'...has to be one of country music's greatest lyrics.

"Promised Land" - Chuck Berry

Classic Chuck Berry boogie woogie moves us on down the road to the 'Promised Land.' This song will get you off the couch and out of the house.

"Honky Tonkin" - Hank Williams (mp3)

The undisputed king of country music - Hank Williams sings about 'steppin' out on your man' and using your own money to do it! Classic.

"Georgia on My Mind" - Willie Nelson (mp3)

Willie Nelson describes the allure of the south in simple, beautiful and haunting lyrics like no other. You should own Willie's version and Ray Charles' rendition, too.

"I Said (Paradise Reprise)" - Dwight Yoakam

'Paradise' was originally written and recorded by John Prine in a traditional bluegrass style. Dwight re-interpreted it, sped up the tempo, added a driving, train-like rhythm track and delivers it as only Dwight can do.

"Get Rhythm" - Johnny Cash (mp3)

The Man in Black gives a lesson in beating the blues. Listen close and you'll hear Johnny's influence on all kinds of music from country to rock, to rhythm and blues.

"Mama Tried" - Merle Haggard (mp3)

Whose mama hasn't tried? Merle Haggard is one of the truest and most honest voices in country music. Go hug your mom.

"On the Road Again" - Willie Nelson (mp3)

THE all-time classic road song. The inspiration behind 'hittin' the road' for countless people. Whether you're a musician, artist, actor or just filled with wanderlust, this song will be your anthem while you're out looking for whatever it is you need to find.

A massacre happens again and again.

Most of the game is half mental.

A trip goes horribly wrong somewhere.
