Food I Find Funny

baby corn

hot dogs that are too long for the bun:

dodger dog!

jolt cola

purple potatoes

when a cherry has a tiny cherry attached to it

tiny bananas

mini corn dogs

"sliders"

3 types of popcorn in a giant tin:

tripe:

Beef tripe is usually made from only the first three of a cow's stomach, the rumen (blanket/flat/smooth tripe), the reticulum (honeycomb and pocket tripe), and the omasum (book/bible/leaf tripe). Abomasum (reed) tripe is seen much less frequently, owing to its glandular tissue content. Tripe is also produced from sheep, goats, and pigs. Unwashed (or "green") tripe includes some of the stomach's last content, smells very unappetizing and is unsuitable for people, but is a favorite of many dogs and other carnivores and is often used in dog food. It is called green, although its colour is often brown or grey, because of its high chlorophyll content from undigested grass. For human consumption, tripe must be washed and meticulously cleaned.

chocolate bunnies

when people from the UK call a bread roll a "bap"

Halloween peeps

mini Cadbury cream eggs that come in a tiny egg carton:

Cadbury Creme Egg is manufactured by making a chocolate shell in a half-egg shaped mould, which is then filled with white fondant and a dab of yellow fondant to simulate the yolk.

Two mould halves are closed very quickly and cooled to allow the chocolate to set. When the moulds are opened, the eggs fall onto a conveyor which transports them, first to the foiling machines and then to the finished packing.

Cocktail frankfurts. Also known as little boys. Especially amusing (and disgusting) when you cook em too long and they pop out of their skins and then turn inside out. Mmmmm...tasty.
